Claude revamps its voice mode: you talk, and it connects with Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Canva and Notion
Now you can ask it by voice to schedule a meeting or draft a message using your own work tools, and choose the model that does it.
Anthropic updated Claude’s voice mode so you can choose between the Opus, Sonnet and Haiku models (before, it only used Haiku) and connect it with external apps. You can now ask by voice for it to schedule meetings or draft messages using the tools you already use.
- Integrates Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Canva and Notion to carry out tasks by voice.
- Lets you pick the model (Opus/Sonnet/Haiku); the free plan is limited to Haiku and a single connected app.
- Supports more than 10 languages, including Spanish.
- Available in beta for all users and platforms.
Why it matters to you
Running your day by voice —scheduling, drafting emails, updating notes— without touching the keyboard and connecting the tools you already use removes exactly the kind of friction that holds back a non-technical owner. Less friction means more things done in fewer steps.
